Marketing and supply (M&S) is a commercial area and encompasses the processes and activities performed to monetise all the commodities produced by Equinor. The key roles within the process are Operators, Charters, Contract managers and Deal handlers, Asset managers, Traders, Marketers, Originators, Macro and Market Analysts, Government and Regulatory affairs specialists.

Job Description

  • Our summer interns will work on multiple tasks throughout the business. Work tasks may vary according to your competence profile, assignment and business needs. Typical assignments under Marketing and supply are within:
  • Macroeconomic and energy market analysis
  • Marketing and Trading, portfolio optimisation, commodity logistical operations
  • Asset management, translation of market intelligence into specific market views, business case development
  • Commercial operations, which includes Commercial contracts management and deal handling

Relevant education:

  • Economics, Finance, Shipping, Trading, Logistics, Business, Industrial Economics, Innovation, Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Technology, Offshore Technology, Maritime Law, Political Science and Law, Energy Management, Data Science, and Sustainability

Qualifications

  • No more than 1 year of full time relevant experience (please note research under a PhD are not be considered relevant experience)
  • Have completed at least 2 years of relevant bachelor studies by the time of the commencement of the internship, and are currently enrolled in a relevant study programme
  • Fluent in English
  • International work and/or study experience preferred
  • Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage
