General Manager Otovo Sweden
You will be the general manager of Otovo Sweden, including building the brand, building an organisation for sales and operations on the ground in Sweden, and linking up partners on the platform. You’re excellent in creating and handling media attention. Your commercial drive is outstanding and you’re naturally an organizer. People get motivated by you.
You will be part of the Otovo central management group and report to Otovo CEO Andreas Thorsheim. GM Sweden will be based in Stockholm, Göteborg or Malmö, and will be expected to travel often to Oslo.
We offer compensation that’s competitive with other venture backed tech companies, including shares/stock options.

You will be part of our sales team, where a bunch of young and driven engineers and sales specialists work on advising solar customers, closing sales and pre-planning rooftop projects. Our sales consultants typically have completed their educations in engineering or business, but we are also open to candidates with proven track records in consumer sales (media, electricity, telco, consumer electronics etc). You will be rewarded for good sales results.
The job as sales consultant is a stepping stone to other commercial or technical jobs in Otovo for successful candidates.

Head of sales
You will head our consumer sales consultant team, tasked with selling rooftop solar and battery solutions to home owners in Norway. Our sales team consists of 4-5 sales consultants who work with incoming interests on phone and online. You will be expected to motivate, set sales goals, plan sales activities and develop sales procedures. As opportunities arise you will tap them to create business with outbound sales. You are high on energy and creativity and have proven sales results before in related fields (electricity sales, media sales, telco sales, consumer electronics etc). You have a business, marketing or sales educational background. The head of sales will report to Otovo’s CEO, Andreas Thorsheim.

Head of installer operations
You will develop and operate a platform of installer companies, and create a super efficient supply chain for distributed energy hardware installations such as solar panels, solar roofs and batteries. This will include creating installer programs, performance management, cost control and HSEQ routines. You typically have a background from retail operations or other multiple-location supply chains; you are familiar with lean process design and execution; you are excellent at project management, vendor management and negotiations.
Your education is typically MSc in engineering or finance/economics, and you have exhibited the ability to lead others. The head of installer ops will report to Otovo’s CTO, Andreas Bentzen.

Senior Developers, Developers and UX/Design specialist
Our software creates rooftop solar projects and guides the customers gently on their way to becoming a solar home. Solar installers use our platform to get, plan and carry out projects. They also install our proprietary data logging unit, which in turns give our customers monitoring and a lifetime of solar production statistics. In addition we’re building a full power company to connect the solar energy homes with people who want their electricity to be green and local.
You can become a part of the seriously skilled dev team that creates all of this magic. We’re looking to add both talented junior and senior engineers. You need deep technical skills, self-motivation and a desire to make an impact.
Our stack is currently Python 3, Django, React, PostgreSQL, Heroku/AWS, and Debian.
UX/Design specialists create great consumer products on web and mobile, but we expect you to be able to code and execute on your creativity and not only hand over wireframes and demos.
All developers report to Otovo’s Head of products, Simen F. Jørgensen.

Otovo is a venture backed startup intent on simplifying the transition from energy-draining, stupid individual homes to solar powered, smarter and interacting communities. We build software that helps people decide on going solar and we run a network of installers that make it happen in the real world. In addition we connect the solar powered homes with the grid and operate a power company that sells clean and local power. We will add capabilities and products as we move forward.
We were founded in 2016 and recently completed our series A funding (€6m). We have launched products, attracted customers and have a pretty steep revenue curve. Otovo will be taking risks, which also means there is ample opportunity to be part of the fun and influence outcomes substantially. It’s cool to get in early.
